(Nasdaq: ABTL) is an Internet automotive marketing services company that helps dealers and manufacturers sell cars and related products and services. Besides our headquarters in Irvine, we have operations in Troy, Michigan. When did Autobytel Inc. become a public company? We completed an initial public offering of our common stock in March 1999. Our common stock is listed on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "ABTL." Has Autobytel Inc. completed any recent acquisitions? We made two acquisitions in April 2004. The first was iDriveonline, Inc., a provider of customer loyalty and retention marketing programs for the automotive dealers. The second was Stoneage Corporation, an Internet automotive marketing services company and owner of the Car.com Web site. In June 2003, we acquired AVV, a provider of dealership lead and sales management tools and dealer management system (DMS) data extraction services. In August 2001, we acquired Autoweb. In January 2008, we sold certain assets and liabilities of our AVV data extraction and customer relationship management (CRM) software business to Dominion Enterprises for $22.75 million in cash, plus a working capital payment of approximately $1.1 million (subject to adjustment). In June 2007, we sold our Retention Performance Marketing business (RPM) to CallCommand for $7.6 million (subject to working capital adjustment), as this business was not core to our Internet and media-centric strategy. For the same reason, in February 2007, we sold our Automotive Information Center (AIC) business to R.L. Polk Co. and in January 2008, we sold our AVV business to Dominion Enterprises. In June 2003, we completed the sale of five million newly-issued shares of common stock to a group of institutional investors in a private placement for net proceeds of $25.6 million, with the intent to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including potential acquisitions.
