Astris Energi CEO to Present at Fuel Cell 2004 Conference
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, CANADA, June 9, 2004 -- Jiri K. Nor, P. Eng, President and CEO of Astris Energi Inc. (“Astris”, OTC Bulletin Board - ASRNF), the world's leading alkaline fuel cell (AFC) technology company, is presenting a paper titled “Alkaline Fuel Cell Technology for the 21st Century” to the Fuel Cell 2004 conference being held June 9-10 in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Nor's presentation focuses on Astris' state-of-the-art progress as well as on specific advantages of alkaline fuel cell (AFC) technology and its future potential. Mr. Nor notes that AFCs are reliable performers that can be built inexpensively. He notes also that the merits of AFC technology are beginning to be recognized, and that AFC technology is entering the period of its renaissance.
