BASKING RIDGE, N.J., June 5, 2003 -- Hooper Holmes (Amex: HH) today announced that it received two prestigious awards at the recent ACORD (Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. These awards recognize the Company's achievements in the implementations of ACORD's standards. ACORD is a non-profit insurance organization that develops and maintains standards for sharing information that allows companies to transact business electronically with agents, brokers and other data partners in the insurance, reinsurance and related financial services industries.
Hooper Holmes received the Early Adopter Award for its completion of ACORD's Certification Process, which standardizes business message transactions. The Business Integration Award was given to Hooper Holmes for its completion of a rigorous documentation package that identifies key business processes and expense savings for a specified project.
