BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 1, 2003 -- Hooper Holmes, Inc. (Amex: HH) today announced that it has entered into a strategic services agreement with E-Z Data, Inc., to provide life insurance agents, brokers, and carriers with electronic ordering capabilities for underwriting requirements services. E-Z Data is a leading provider of front-office systems to insurance companies, broker-dealers, insurance agents and investment advisors and currently serves more than 40 of the largest U.S. and international insurance and financial services companies.
Through this agreement, Hooper Holmes' underwriting systems will be integrated with E-Z Data's Web and Windows-based agency management systems to provide customers in the life insurance industry with electronic ordering capabilities for underwriting requirements services. Customers that manage the underwriting process of individual insurance applications will have real-time, seamless access to Hooper Holmes' ordering, tracking and results information for examination services, personal history interviews, tele-underwriting reports and medical records retrieval services.
