Medicis Announces Third Quarter Fiscal 2002 Conference Call and Webcast

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--April 15, 2002--Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation (NYSE:MRX) today announced it expects to report third quarter fiscal 2002 financial results after the market closes on Thursday, April 18, 2002.

The Company will host a conference call at 5:15 p.m. Eastern Time (2:15 p.m. Pacific Time) to review the March 31, 2002 third quarter fiscal 2002 financial results, as well as provide an update on other business matters of the Company.
