Medicis Announces Fiscal 2003 First Quarter Conference Call and Webcast

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Oct. 14, 2002--Medicis (NYSE:MRX) today announced it expects to report first quarter fiscal 2003 financial results after the market closes on Thursday, October 17, 2002.

The Company will host a conference call at 5:15 p.m. Eastern Time (2:15 p.m. Pacific Time) to review the September 30, 2002 first quarter financial results, as well as provide an update on other business matters of the Company.
