The original goal was to prepare 8,000 care packages; the final count was 10,375. The care packages will be shipped to troops serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and overseas locations. The Nov. 15 event marked Northrop Grumman's fourth care package stuffing party sponsorship this year.

"We at Northrop Grumman are very proud to partner with the USO to support the men and women of the U.S. military serving overseas," said John Stanfill, site manager of Northrop Grumman Amherst Systems in Buffalo. "Our participation with the USO Care Package Program is just one small way to bring a touch of home to our troops and to show our heart-felt thanks to our service members on duty overseas."
