Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman's CFO Wes Bush Announces Reshaping of Corporate Business Management Organization

LOS ANGELES, April 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) today announced a reshaping of its corporate business management organization to enhance the performance of the company's finance operations, including financial reporting, planning and analysis.

The board of directors has elected Kenneth N. Heintz, 58, as corporate vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. Sandra Wright, 49, former vice president and controller, will become vice president, financial planning. Barbara Barcon, 48, has been appointed vice president, financial process excellence. All positions are effective upon the filing of the company's 2005 first quarter Form 10-Q, scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2005.

Heintz joins the company and assumes responsibilities for corporate accounting, financial compliance and reporting, benefits accounting, and tax. He most recently served in a variety of senior executive positions for Hughes Electronics Corporation and DirecTV Group. He previously held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer of PanAmSat Corp., a global satellite services company. Earlier in his career, Ken served as National Audit Partner for Deloitte & Touche's Aerospace and Defense accounting practice. A certified public accountant, Heintz earned a bachelor's degree in economics, with honors, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
