Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman's Steve Timmerman Assumes Additional Leadership Responsibilities at the Company's St. Augustine Site

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., July 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Steve Timmerman vice president and site manager for its St. Augustine, Fla., manufacturing center. Timmerman will maintain his responsibilities as vice president for Northrop Grumman's aircraft product support and services group, also based in St. Augustine. Both organizations are part of Northrop Grumman's Integrated Systems sector and Timmerman will report to Gerard A. "Duke" Dufresne, sector vice president of airborne early warning and electronic warfare systems.

Timmerman joined Northrop Grumman in 1974 as a senior planner and has held numerous operations and management positions. He was part of the team in 1980 that opened the St. Augustine facility.

In 1986, Timmerman moved to Melbourne for the startup of the company's Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar Program (Joint STARS). He moved back to St. Augustine when he was named a company vice president in charge of aircraft product support and services in 2001.

The St. Augustine manufacturing center has a work force of approximately 1,300 people. It manufactures the E-2 Hawkeye airborne early warning aircraft for the U.S. Navy, as well as major assemblies for the EA-6B Prowler and other military aircraft. The sector's aircraft product support and services business encompasses logistics, aircraft maintenance and modifications, and field support and services for Northrop Grumman products. Its 500 employees work at military bases throughout the world.
