Nevada Gold Announces Joseph A. Juliano Has Been Appointed Chairman of the Board, Replacing H. Thomas Winn
HOUSTON, June 15, 2007 -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (AMEX:UWN) today announced that Joseph A. Juliano has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Juliano has been a member of the Board of Directors for six years. Mr. Juliano has been an executive of PepsiCo for over 30 years, most recently as Senior Vice President -- Entertainment Division. He currently serves as a consultant to the gaming, entertainment and beverage industries. Mr. Juliano received his BS and MBA in marketing from St. John's University.
Mr. Juliano replaces H. Thomas Winn, who resigned as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Winn is leaving to pursue other business interests but remains a member of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is in the process of resolving the final terms of Mr. Winn's severance from employment with the Company.
